Shelley's visit to Milton Cross School

Another recent adventure of mine was a trip to Milton Cross School.
The aim was for pupils from Milton Cross School to work with businesses, higher education and teachers to give their views on how to modify science lessons. I was invited to the school to launch the project and motivate teenagers about science.
You may wonder why me - but the answer is simple! There is a lot of science involved in powerboat racing. From the materials the boat is made of to the high tech equipment used to power and navigate the boat.
I took 'Team Raymarine" with me and had a wonderful time with the students, chatting, signing autographs and talking about my sport and the challenges of 2005.
